1) Principle
① Elimination of causative agents or provocative factors
② Desensitizing or immunotherapy
③ Preventive therapy
④ Pharmacologic therapy
cf) Aggressive therapy Indications (-severe obstruction)

∙use of accessory muscles
∙marked hyperinflation of the thorax
2) Bronchodilators
① β-Adrenergic drugs
기전 : mast cell의 β2 receptor에 작용, cAMP상승, bronchial dilation
Drugs ▷ Nonselective : Epinephrine - acute attack시, α,β agonist
Isoproterenol - most potent group
Isoetharine - β2 에 sensitivity가지나 약하다.
▷ β2 selective : 부작용이 적고 작용시간이 길다는 advantage(장점) 을 가짐.
Resorcinol ( metaproterenol, terbutaline )
Saligenin ( albuterol, salbuterol ..)
Inhalation : 대개의 약제가 이 형태로 나와있으며 parenteral에 비해 효율의 차이가 적음.
Inhaler 사용에 관한 환자의 교육
: 먼저 잔기량을 모두 내뱉게 하고 천천히 약을 들여 마시기 처음 하여 거의 total lung
capacity까지 inhalation시킴. 그 후 약 5초간 holding하여 약이 잘 retain되게 한다.
mild - moderate ; 대개 6-8 시간 간격으로 inhalation
